The vase is semi-opaque, the dahlia stem almost touches the glass, I haven't converted to monochrome, but there is virtually no colour in the image. Taken in available light from kitchen window, the vase stands on the microwave for the shot. Minor crop and slight enhancement in Nik plugin.
