Now that the carpet is fitted, we have brought out some of the pictures that have been in storage. Next, the doors go back on after being trimmed to accommodate the new carpet. Did I tell you we've had new carpet fitted? ;0)

Today's the day! We have waited a long time, nearly at the end of this project of a house, this is the new style 100% recyclable underlay, awaiting the new carpet!

The day finally came... when the stair carpet was finally laid :-D

The kids thought we were mad to be so excited, but its been a very long time coming!

(The title for this entry is a long-standing joke between hubby and I from when we bought 'our' first carpet in the previous house.)
