I killed some time in Ripley's Market Place, waiting for the Town Hall to open (not until 10am on a Wednesday for staff training). It was a crisp winter morning with a vast blue sky, hardly any cloud, but lots of plane-trails. I like how all the leading lines in this shot take you to the mosaic on the pub, the Red Lion, and no leaves on the trees means you can see their structure, and birds' nests (below right).
